The article informs that Genesco Inc., a regional department store chain, has filed a lawsuit against Visa Inc., a global payments technology company, challenging that the payment card industry standards used to fine merchant 13 million U.S. dollars for data breach in 2010. It also informs that according to Genesco, penalties were not authorized under the card brand's own rules and breached its contracts with acquiring banks.
