The article presents insights regarding intraoperative aberrometry that were given by doctor Robert J. Weinstock at Refractive Subspecialty Day. He said that intraoperative aphakic refraction, instead of intraocular lens (IOL), can ensure reliable and precise optical results in cataract surgery. He mentioned that ORange intraoperative aberrometer (WaveTec) lets surgeons calculate IOL based on real-time data from the operating room.
