Comeback Corner

March 2013
Daily Mail;3/30/2013, p17
Val Kilmer was one of Hollywood's hottest actors in the 80s and 90s, starring as Batman, Jim Morrison in The Doors and Top Gun's Iceman. His return to TV after five years, in a one-off special of Ricky Gervais's comedy Life's Too Short, recalls another major role. Playing himself (left), Val has talks with Warwick Davis, the show's star, about a sequel to their 1988 sword and sorcery movie Willow. Val, 53, last appeared on our screens in 2008 when he made a hilarious guest appearance as hippy character The Sherpa (right), alongside Mr Selfridge's Jeremy Piven, in an episode of US drama Entourage on ITV2. Life's Too Short, tonight, 10pm, BBC2.
