ABSTRACT
SUCH is BBC Sport's dislike of nicknames that their Radio 5 Live Cheltenham Festival reporter Derek Thompson (right) had to pay £10 to Comic Relief every time he referred to himself in the third person as 'Tommo'. Football pundit Robbie Savage has also been told not to keep referring to presenter Mark Pougatch on air as 'Pougers'… but to no avail.
