ABSTRACT
PATRICK HYLAND has signed contracts to take on Eric Hunter for the USBA featherweight title on a May 10 card which will be screened live Stateside by ESPN. The American belt on the line is awarded by the IBF world governing body and comes with a world ranking. Philadelphian Hunter carries a pro record of 17-2, while Dubliner Hyland (27-1) will hope to bounce back after a gutsy 12-round decision loss to highly-rated Javier Fortuna last year.
