MOSCOW. March 29 (Interfax) - Mobile TeleSystems (MTS) (RTS: MTSS) and Vimpelcom Ltd. have sent a joint letter to Tele2 board chairman Mike Parton and president Mats Granryd expressing their interest in acquiring Tele2 Russia, a subsidiary of the Swedish mobile provider.
