Initial review of the voluntary phase of the national BVD eradication programme

The article presents information on Bovine Viral Diarrhea (BVD) eradication programme that has been carried out by the organization BVD Implementation Group (BVDIG) of Ireland. It informs that information for the programme has been gathered by the BVD data analysis group (BVDDAG) through a detailed questionnaire from Irish farmers. It further informs that enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) test has been performed for confirmatory test of BVD in calves.
