ABSTRACT
The article presents information on fur farming industry in Ireland and its main concerns. It discusses a report from the Scientific Committee on Animal Health and Animal Welfare on the welfare of the animals on fur farms. According to Mary Anne Bartlett, director at the animal welfare charity Compasssion in World Farming, banning fur farming would show people that the charity takes animal welfare seriously.
