ABSTRACT
The article discusses the evidence for the efficacy of probiotics in the prevention of antibiotic associated with diarrhoea. It highlights the importance of preventing complication due to antibiotics by making use of probiotics. It mentions appropriate selection of probiotics because all probiotics do not provide the same benefits. It states that there is good evidence of some probiotics that are helpful in preventing and managing childhood diarrhea caused by viral infections.
