ABSTRACT
BREDE HANGELAND has signed a two-year extension to his contract at Fulham, ending speculation about his future. The 31-year-old club captain has been a key figure since he was signed by Roy Hodgson in January 2008 and had been attracting interest from other Premier League sides. However, a new two-year deal, with the option of a third, persuaded him to stay. 'I'm so happy,' he said. 'It's taken a long time but we're there now.' ÷ STRIKER Glenn Murray, 29, has agreed a new three-year contract at Crystal Palace.
