ABSTRACT
IT wasn't exactly easy the first time, so why Wayne Rooney thought he could replicate his famous derby-winning bicycle kick wearing a blindfold is not clear. The Manchester United striker, whose stunning goal (left) memorably defeated Manchester City two seasons ago, took on the challenge set him by sponsors bwin. Unsurprisingly, Rooney's effort (right) did not end up in the top corner this time, though he still managed to celebrate as if it had (below). With the blindfold off, Rooney's sights will be set firmly on a win at Sunderland tomorrow ... and then on reclaiming the title.
