ABSTRACT
SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY have signed Bolton midfielder Stuart Holden but failed in a bid to tempt Kevin Davies away from the Reebok Stadium. Manager Dave Jones has instead turned to Hartlepool striker Steve Howard, 36. BOLTON brought in West Ham winger Robert Hall, 19, and Southampton defender Danny Butterfield, 33, on loan. Both go into the squad to face CHARLTON, who have signed Burkina Faso midfielder Florent Rouamba, 26, on a short-term deal. WOLVES have signed Wigan winger Nouha Dicko, 20, until the end of the season.
