ABSTRACT
The article offers news briefs related to freight industry of Canada. Logistics Canadian Freight Index of freight company TransCore LP has recorded the highest spot market load volumes for January 2013. Total cost of ground transportation for Canadian shippers has decreased by 0.86 percent in November 2012 as compared to October 2012. Canadian railways has shown an increase in carrying freight in last three months and it carried 27.4 million tones of freight in November 2012.
