ABSTRACT
The article discusses United Methodist Church's (UMC) innovative events for the Easter Observances in 2013. It describes the events including a drama on Jesus' resurrection at the coffeehouse The Crossing in Russellville, Arkansas on Easter Sunday; a Saturday night Easter vigil by the coffee shop Urban Abbey in Omaha, Nebraska; and a distribution of peanut butter & jelly sandwiches to the homeless at a park in downtown Denver, Colorado by United Methodist pastor Jerry Herships on Easter Sunday.
