PEELING off half the foil carefully, only exposing the smooth chocolate at the top, I went to take a bite. But, just as I opened my mouth, a friend came bounding up behind me and clapped me on the shoulder. The egg slipped from my hand, and — as if in slow motion — went bouncing and rolling down the street, never to be seen again.
