ABSTRACT
The sexual act plays a great role in either showing man's paranormal and creative powers or inhibiting them. It has an ambivalent nature, depending on man's genetic characteristics or his attitude towards sexual relations. The pineal gland is connected with sexual maturity and with paranormal phenomena. Biologically speaking, it could be the core of man s means to reach the hidden powers of his being. The male alone cannot achieve the state of completion without a woman; they both form a whole. This is seen in most of the mystics' experiences and insights; and in other gifted people. This article shows the effect of sexual relations on man s spiritual life. It also deals with the connection between religion and one of the basic facts of human nature.
