Reports that officials of Dallas, Texas-based public transit authority, Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) are considering delaying a planned suburban rail project that would require bond financing due to a fall in the authority's sales-tax revenues since 2001 as of October 2002. Consideration of a possible 18-month delay of a rail extension to the city's northwest suburbs.
