ABSTRACT
The article presents information on a study, according to which there has been a considerable decline in sperm quality of French men between 1989 and 2005, and the average sperm count is falling. However, the researchers said that there has been a selection bias, as most studies have relied on couples coming to fertility clinics, which do not represent the general population; and many men were partners of women who were proved as totally infertile.

The experiments were performed on 448 ejaculates obtained from 41 Polish Landrace boars. Ejaculates collected from each boar at one-month intervals for approximately 10 months were analysed. Sperm morphometric measurements were taken from each boar and assessment of semen morphology was done on...

Introduction: Fertilization in humans is dependent on viability of the male spermatozoa among other factors and there have been conflicting reports on the role of pH, calcium and phosphate concentrations in sperm function. This study therefore aimed to investigate seminal plasma pH, inorganic...

Protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A) is a critical regulator of protein serine/threonine phosphorylation. However, the physiological and developmental roles of different PP2A complexes are very poorly understood. Here, we show that a newly characterized PP2A inhibitory protein CIP2A is co-expressed...
