ABSTRACT
The article focuses on problems associated with the inconsistent use of the designation "of Counsel" that constitute a wide range of attorneys. It presents information on the ambiguity associated with the role of lawyers and limitations relating to law that mislead people, implicating rules of professional conduct. It presents an analysis of the "of counsel" that indicate a close relationship to advertise the relation of association of attorney with firm.
