ABSTRACT
The article reports that amid pressure for tighter gun laws in Connecticut, the state General Assembly's 50-member bipartisan task force on gun violence prevention and children's safety is considering its legislative recommendations. The advocates for gun control and gun rights have gathered for marches and legislative hearings since the December 14, 2012 shooting in Newtown. However, the gun manufacturers are concerned about the impact of tighter gun laws on their business.
