ABSTRACT
The article discusses the Georgia Court of Appeals' ruling in the 2012 case Georgia Cash America Inc. v. Greene which deals with payday lenders, the rights of borrowers, and Georgia’s Payday Lending Act. Predatory lending laws and Georgia's Industrial Loan Act are addressed, along with the regulation of interest rate charges by payday lenders. Other topics include summary judgment motions and the predominant economic interest in loan revenues.
