ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the Stoneville cotton varieties introduced by Bayer CropScience for 2013. The varieties allow cotton growers to fight weed resistance and rotate herbicide chemistries. They have GlyTol and LibertyLink traits, as well as a two-gene Bt trait to protect against lepidopteran pests. According to product manager Jeff Brehmer, the varieties give flexibility to growers in spraying Liberty and glyphosate herbicides.
