The pin is identical to the one given national past presidents except for the use of a simulated ruby instead of a diamond, the diamond being reserved for the national office. All Society members, candidates and transportation people in general should keep in mind that the 1963 annual meeting and seminar will be held during September 5-6, 1983, in Knoxville, Tennessee. This Eighteenth Annual Meeting and Seventh Biennial Seminar will be held in conjunction with the University of Tennessee in addition to being hosted by the Tennessee Chapter. Since the inception of the Placement Section in the "Transportation Journal," numerous members and candidates have placed advertisements indicating their availability for better positions. The journal has accumulated many resumes of persons with very fine backgrounds in traffic and transportation management who have asked for assistance in pursuit of positions of greater responsibility.
