ABSTRACT
Revere Beach Massachusetts began to draw visitors to its beautiful stretch of sand just north of Boston in 1875. On the heels of the visitors followed amusement parks and hustlers. Now the honky-tonk has given way to more relaxed pursuits: the last amusement park was torn down in 1978 to make room for condos and apartments.
