ABSTRACT
CARLOW laid down a marker under new boss John Meyler as they ran out surprisingly easy winners over old rivals Antrim. The home side led 0-11 to 0-6 at half-time and it was over early in the second half when Paul Coady goaled after being picked out by Marty Kavanagh. At one points Carlow were a staggering 12 points ahead despite the brilliance of Ryan McGarry in the Antrim goal, and they now host Leinster champions Galway next Sunday.
