ABSTRACT
AS Trevor Croly prepares for the cut and thrust of Airtricity League management with Shamrock Rovers, Michael O'Neill has warned his former right-hand man that he faces 'a very different situation' now that he is in charge. 'As a coach, you're never making decisions, you're not determining whether players are getting contracts, or whether they are in the team, so it's much easier to have a relationship with players as a coach than as a manager,' said O'Neill, who led Rovers to the title in 2010 and 2011.
