ABSTRACT
The article discusses the requirements in the installation of energy-efficient humidity control as it affects thermal comfort, indoor air quality, and the health and productivity of building occupants. The author discusses the principle of dedicated outdoor air system. She concludes air-conditioning in hot climates may be dependent on cold indoor temperatures and high indoor humidity levels.
