ABSTRACT
The article presents a profile and discusses the work of the Santa Fe, New Mexico-based jeweler Denise Betesh. A graduate of the Museum School of Fine Arts in Boston, Massachusetts, Betesh has been working with 22 karat gold for more than two decades. The author notes that she produces of all her pieces, including woven chains, heart-charm earrings and gem-set rings, by hand with the help of one bench assistant. Comments by Betesh are included.
