ABSTRACT
The author presents tips for franchisors and franchisees on ways to make their websites accessible to mobile devices to better engage with their customers online. Figures are provided showing that mobile Internet usage in the 2010s is growing much faster than the adoption of the World Wide Web in the 1990s. Testing mobile a mobile website to see how it appears on the Apple, Blackberry and Android mobile systems is recommended. Tips on extending the brand experience to mobile devices are cited.
