ABSTRACT
The article discusses the goal of the International Association for Ambulatory Surgery (IAAS) to promote the development of high-quality ambulatory surgery worldwide. It mentions the plan of the association to organized the International Congress in Budapest, Hungary from May 5-8, 2013. It notes that the association has received funding from the European Union (EU) to provide education sessions for ambulatory surgery which will be launched in Budapest in October 2012.
