ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the performance results of acrylated monomers and oligomers when subjected to typical end-use tests designed to measure the flexibility and adhesion characteristics of coatings. It mentions polyester acrylates (PEA), or oligomers that offer easier handling and improved weathering resistance. All metal test panels were obtained from Q-Panel. Testing demonstrated that adhesion-promoting oligomers (APO) should compromise between 20-30 percent of the formulation.
