ABSTRACT
The article presents information on Captain Wollaston, who came with few more of some eminency to Massachusetts and among whom was one Thomas Morton. They brought many servants with them to begin a plantation and pitched themselves in a place which they called Mount Wollaston, after their Captain's name. However, after some time Wollaston took great part of the servants and transports them to Virginia. Later Morton took over and changed the the name of their place to Merrymount.
