ABSTRACT
Jean-Francois Millet, mid-19th Century artist, is perhaps best known for `The Sower.' One hundred fifty-seven of his paintings, drawings and prints are packed into the new west wing of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. He is of historical importance because of his influence on the Impressionists and his role in the Barbizon School.
