ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the use of private security by some commercial airports despite the availability of the U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA). It mentions some of the airports using private security such as the San Francisco International (SFO), Kansas City International (MCI) and Tupelo Regional (TUP). It says that the TSA has been under scrutiny from the public and lawmakers due to its new full screening methods such as full body scanners and pat-downs.
