ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the loose seats at three separate Boeing 757 seats of American Airlines Inc. in September 2012, which seems a bit symbolic of first year anniversary of the airline's Chapter 11 bankruptcy restructuring. It states that the reputation of American Airlines has damaged and remained uncertain when or if it can regain its public standing. It says that the incidents prompted American to perform seat reinforcement work and found that safety has not been seriously compromised.
