ABSTRACT
The article discusses three basic principles to establish effective small groups in a classroom. Teachers are advised to choose groups based on the task. They are urged to equip students with the skills necessary to collaborate in a small group. Students should be kept interested and involved in their own learning which is a component of effective grouping, says the article.
