ABSTRACT
The article presents an interim report of the International Labour Office's Committee on Freedom of Association which focuses on a complaint against the Government of the Dominican Republic by the National Trade Union Confederation (CNUS). The complainant alleges anti-union acts as well as the refusal to register various trade unions. The Committee requested the Government to amend the legislation in order to allow trade unions of self-employed workers to be founded and registered.
