ABSTRACT
The article provides a comparative analysis of the two Nigerian statutes which are intended to facilitate the enforcement of judgments from foreign countries. It informs that the Reciprocal Enforcement of Judgments Act 1922 and the Foreign Judgments (Reciprocal Enforcement) Act 1960 are the two principal statutes concerning the enforcement of foreign judgments in Nigeria. It depicts that the 1922 Act provides a reasonably satisfactory regime for enforcement by registration.
