The article reports that plastics compounding company PolyOne Corp. will acquire Spartech Corp., a manufacturer of sheet plastics, for roughly $393 million. The acquisition will be financed through both cash and shares of stock of PolyOne and includes PolyOne assuming Spartech's corporate debt of $142 million.
