ABSTRACT
ALLAN McNISH (above) had to settle for the runners'-up place in the World Endurance Championship finale in China. The Scot and Audi partner Tom Kristensen, competing in the Shanghai six-hour sportscar race, were beaten to the title by the team's sister crew. 'Second was the best we could have achieved today,' McNish said. 'Tom and I extracted the maximum from our Audi.'
