ABSTRACT
WHEN THE GAA's annual congress convened in Killenard, Co Laois, last April, there seemed more important matters on the Clr than motion 39, which was brought forward by St Kevin's of Castlerea. Seanie Johnston's protracted transfer from Cavan to Kildare was still casting a shadow across the GAA landscape while there was also the square ball rule to refine.
