ABSTRACT
WITH two baby girls, the second just weeks old, the Gilmore household in Tuam must have been a sea of pink toys, teddies and flowers. The sight of those same pretty objects now marking the spot where the two little sisters were killed by an out-ofcontrol car, during a Sunday afternoon stroll with their dad, brings home the enormity of that family's loss more than words ever could.
