Custodians of finds need to be familiar with the finds' content and structure as well as their creators' classification system. Given that such systems often changed during the course of history archivists are sometimes unsure as to how to arrange documents so that they complement each other with respect to content despite them being marked differently. To accomplish this, archivists need an aid to sort such records. This tabular presentation of registers used in different time periods will help them arrange judicial records more quickly and thoroughly.
