ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the state of domestic violence in Great Britain in 2012. Domestic violence is defined as threatening behavior or violence between adults who are intimate partners or family members and its most common product are chronic physical and mental health problems. The Physician Readiness to Manage Intimate Partner Violence Survey showed that 25-44% of clinicians expressed unpreparedness to manage such situations and that only 54% reported at least one case in six months.
