ABSTRACT
The article discusses Performance Relativism, a version of structuralism with the view of more than one sound-structure may determine the criteria for correctness for the performance of a musical work. The author introduces the idea of a sound-structure, distinguishing the two roles it may play in musical metaphysics, as part of composition analysis and as a central component in the study of the relation of work-performance.
