ABSTRACT
The dissertation discusses strategies for the management and implementation of innovations in the business models and strategic planning of private corporations. Relying on case studies from the German automobile insurance industry, the author examines how companies can employ both material and human resources in their efforts to improve their market positioning. He advocates that organizational research pay more attention to the relationship between business planning, corporate culture, and organizational change.
