ABSTRACT
The behavior of chiral condensate in a hot and dense medium is investigated within a phenomenological approach inspired by the AdS/CFT correspondence. We find that it decreases when temperature and/or chemical potential are increased, and it vanishes at some critical values. The locus of such critical points is also drawn and discussed.

We investigate the dependence of the chiral condensate $\langle\bar{q}q\rangle$ on the temperature and quark density using the soft-wall holographic model of QCD, adopting geometries with black holes at finite temperature and quark chemical potential μ. We find that, for μ below a critical...

We discuss some ideas resulting from a phenomenological relation recently declared between the tension of string connecting the static quark-antiquark pair and surface tension of corresponding cylindrical bag. This relation analysis leads to the temperature of vanishing surface tension...

Holographic QCD is an extra-dimensional approach to modeling QCD resonances and their interactions. Holographic models encode information about chiral symmetry breaking, Weinberg sum rules, vector meson dominance, and other phenomenological features of QCD. There are two complementary approaches...

We study the phenomenology of the recently proposed modified version of the Soft-Wall model of holographic QCD with a negative dilaton profile. We investigate vector and scalar mesons, evaluating mass spectra, decay constants and two-point correlation functions. We then study chiral symmetry...

We study how a chiral tricritical point (TCP) on QCD phase diagram is affected by the imbalance of up and down quark densities (isospin density), using the generalized Ginzburg-Landau (GL) approach. The resulting phase diagram near TCP shows a rich fine structure which includes inhomogeneities...

We study the inhomogeneous chiral condensates in the proximity of the chiral tricritical point (TCP) of two-flavor QCD. Deriving the Ginzburg-Landau (GL) functional up to the eighth order in the order parameter and its spatial derivative, we explore off the TCP and find that critical curves are...

We construct a self-consistent holographic QCD model which can realize two most important phenomena of QCD, i.e. chiral symmetry breaking and confinement. The model is formulated in the framework of graviton-dilaton-scalar system, where the dilaton field is of dimension-2 which might be dual to...
