ABSTRACT
We discuss the theoretical and experimental details of two of the main results obtained by LHCb with the 2011 data, namely the measurement of the mixing-induced CP-violation in the decay Bs0→J/ψ[lowercase_phi_synonym] and the upper limits on the decays B(s)0→μ+μ-. Then we describe the possible strategies to obtain new constraints on two different New Physics models in the light of these results.

In the Next-to-Minimal SuperSymmetric Model (NMSSM) the lightest CP-odd Higgs bosons (a1) can be very light. As a consequence, in addition to the standard charged Higgs boson (h±) decays considered in the MSSM for a light charged Higgs (mh± < mt), the branching fraction for h± →...

We present studies from the LHCb experiment leading to the measurement of the weak phase [lowercase_phi_synonym]s. At first, flavor tagging is established by measuring the Bs0 oscillation frequency Δms. Then, flavor tagging is used to perform a measurement of the well known CKM angle sin...

In this paper we discuss the production of a heavy scalar MSSM Higgs boson H and its subsequent decays into pairs of electroweak gauge bosons WW and ZZ. We perform a scan over the relevant MSSM parameters, using constraints from direct Higgs searches and several low-energy observables. We then...

We analyse the impact of explicit CP-violation in the Higgs sector of the Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (NMSSM) on its consistency with the Higgs boson data from the Large Hadron Collider (LHC).
