ABSTRACT
The article reports on the collaboration of the Philippine Department of Finance (DOF) and Department of Heath (DOH) with health advocates and other groups to work out a better version of the sin tax bill. A new version of the bill was unveiled by Senator Ralph Recto, while another version of the measure is being pressed by the House Speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr. Senator Recto denied receiving lobby funds and argues over the 60 billion Philippine peso revenue projection made by the DOF.
