ABSTRACT
The article reports on the decision of the Philippine Sandiganbayan to approve the motion of former President and now Pampanga Representative Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo (GMA) for her continued hospital arrest at the Veterans Memorial Medical Center (VVMC) in Quezon City, Manila. Five rules that GMA should follow while she is in detention were laid out by the Sandiganbayan First Division. The Supreme Court also dismissed the amparo case filed against GMA by Anakpawis member Francis Saez.
